I was so glad to see that Disney once again renewed the
Disney Military Salute offers this year, but what a wonderful surprise that they had even more magic in store with the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute tickets! Each service member or their spouse can purchase up to six tickets, and it’s important to note that at least one of the tickets must be used by the service member or spouse. When you purchase the tickets, your name is associated with your purchase. Most military bases process these electronically and will give you a printout with your name and a ticket barcode that is connected to you. To avoid any potential issues activating the tickets, the best option for your son is to purchase them at the Shades of Green Resort when he arrives at the Walt Disney World Resort. The tickets will still be tax-free, just like they are on a military base.
If your son doesn’t already know, be sure to share with him that the Disney Military Salute offer includes
room discounts and a reduced price on
Memory Maker for Disney PhotoPass Service. He can also add the
Disney Dining Plan to a reservation at a
Disney Resort Collection hotel. I always like to share this tip because the dining plan usually requires purchasing a vacation package that includes theme park tickets. However, even with purchasing Disney Military Salute tickets separately, you can still purchase a dining plan!
