Hello, Mara Joy! Thank you for visiting planDisney as you prepare for a Disney Cruise!
I'm happy to clarify Disney Cruise Line's policies for you. Guests are allowed to bring coolers no larger than 12" x 12" x 12" as carry-on luggage to store medications, baby food, or items related to dietary restrictions. Food items must not be homemade and must remain sealed in original packaging until you have boarded the ship. Please keep in mind that opened food containers must not be removed from the ship, so if you need some kefir for your son for the trip home, you'll need to keep some unopened when onboard so that you can bring it off of the ship during the debarkation process. Each stateroom is equipped with a small cooling drawer or refrigerator.
If you anticipate the need for any additional services while onboard for your son, please
request these services using the
Special Services form. I hope that you find a Disney Cruise vacation to be the perfect mix of a relaxing retreat and a fun getaway for your family! The Crew Members onboard work diligently to provide excellent service, and it all comes with a touch of Disney Magic.
There will be
something for everyone to enjoy onboard, so be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you set sail. Once you are on the ship, you can scroll through the Daily Activity Schedule to see what is in store! If you see an activity listed that you don't want to miss, click the heart icon next to the listing. Be sure to enable notifications from the app to receive a notification about 15 minutes before your selected activities are set to begin.
Mara Joy, have an incredible sailing. Please visit planDisney again if you have more questions. We'll be here for you!
