My son will be 10 in May. We are going to Disney in March. Can you buy a adult dining plan for him and pay the 9 & under ticket price?

    Hi Jennifer,

The short answer is no, the park ticket and dining plan have to be purchased together at either the adult or the child rate.

However, I can offer you a suggestion that may help if you would prefer the adult dining plan for your son.  The dining plan is offered for the entire length of your stay as long as each person on the reservation purchases at least a one-day Magic Your Way base ticket.  So technically, you could put your son on the reservation as an adult, but only purchase a one-day base ticket (at the adult rate) for him.  He will receive the adult dining plan for the length of stay, and a one day adult ticket.  Since your vacation will be longer than the one day, you would then need to purchase separate theme park admission for him, which could be at the child rate since he will be nine at the time of travel and the purchase is independent of your vacation package.

I hope this helps, have a wonderful vacation!
