My son, who is 2 1/2, loves trains! We are leaving for Disney in less then 2 weeks, and get to see the park decorated in Christmas decorations. This will be my 5th visit, and my son's 3rd. I was wondering if any of the resorts have holiday train displays?

    Hi Alyssa!

Your son is in good company because Walt Disney himself loved trains! The Yacht Club Resort typically has a working holiday Train Set with scenery in the Lobby.  You can get there by taking a bus that is going to the Yacht Club from any of the four theme parks or Downtown Disney.  It is a wonderful display and I would encourage you to go see it with your son.  Typically, the Walt Disney World Resort Lobbies are not fully decorated for the Holidays until the 2nd or 3rd full week of November so you might have to inquire if the Yacht Club Resort has their Holiday Train Set up yet.  Also there are miniature trains that operate year round at the Germany Pavilion at Epcot and they decorate the little town at the center of this outdoor display with Holiday decorations as well.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
