My son loves Star Wars and he fights his sister daily with his light saber. He will be a few months shy of 4 when we visit HS. Do you think they would allow him to participate in the Jedi training? He is very good at fighting Darth Vader. :)

    Hi Pennie!

I'm so glad that we aren't the only family with daily light saber fights!  I'm sure that your little guy would have a blast showing off his Jedi moves at the Jedi Training Academy.  If you look to the right side of this website, Kara has made an excellent video concerning tips on being selected.  Simply click on "Meet Angela Basset" and then choose "Jedi Training Academy."  Some of the tips that she mentions are wearing Star Wars apparel and having his face painted as his favorite Star Wars character.  My personal best tip is to make a sign and have him hold it up - it has worked for us every time!

You may want to let him know that not everyone gets picked, but there is always next time!  There are many shows throughout the day and he may want to give it another shot if he isn't picked the first time.  As Yoda would say, "Patience, you must have."  The action is really fun to watch even as a bystander.  Also, he can even build his own light saber in the gift shop, Tatooine Traders.  His sister won't stand a chance!

    Much pixie dust,
