My son (9) LOVES dolphins!! Is there anything for his age where he can swim with them? I am coming down with my 6, 12yr old also, and I want to do something as a family....any ideas!! Thanks, everyone on here is so helpful!!

Hi Jennifer!  I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Disney's Dolphins in Depth tour is not appropriate for your son because it has an age requirement of thirteen.  You'll want to be sure to take him to visit The Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion, though, because it's the place to be for all things aquatic.  Perhaps a meal at Coral Reef would also be a treat for your dolphin-loving boy!

Beyond touring the parks as a family (which is pretty special as is!), perhaps you could treat everyone to an evening on the water, viewing the fireworks.  Disney's Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage is a treat the whole family will enjoy.  If staying on dry land is preferable, you might consider a horse drawn carriage ride through Fort Wilderness or Port Orleans Riverside.  Call 407-WDW-PLAY for more information!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
