My son (8) loves crab legs, but we couldn't find any on any of the kids menus. We have the deluxe meal plan, and I know that kids have to order off the kids menu. If he orders a cheese burger and I order crab legs can we trade or will it cause a prob TX

    Hi Stacy,

It sounds like your son and my son are birds of a feather.  My son loves crab legs, too!

You are correct that children using the Disney Dining Plan must order from the children's menu if one is available in the restaurant where you are dining.  However, once the meals are delivered to your table, you are certainly welcome to switch plates with your son.  The other option, of course, is to take your son to one of Disney's excellent buffets.  Then you may both enjoy as much food as you like from the buffet during that meal.  If he is a seafood fan, definitely schedule a meal at the scrumptious seafood buffet at The Cape May Cafe in the lobby of Disney's Beach Club Resort.  That's one of my son's favorite places to dine.  You can call (407) WDW-DINE to make your dining reservations.

Wishing you a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust!
