Hi, my son loves cars and I was wanting to know are you able to drive to and enter the hotel grounds without dinner and hotel reservations? We would love to visit art of animation with our son so he could have some photos taken with them? Thanks 😊

    Hello Andrew!

I love Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a fabulous Walt Disney World Resort to explore. I have had the opportunity to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort twice (once in a standard Little Mermaid room and once in a Finding Nemo Family Suite). I also love the Cars Section of Disney's Art of Animation Resort, where there are many cars from the movie to take photos with.

You can drive to Disney's Art of Animation Resort to explore it without Advanced Dining Reservations or Hotel reservations. Just tell the Cast Member at the security gate that you and your family wish to explore the Resort. I recommend dining at the Landscape of Flavors, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner while you are exploring. The Landscape of Flavors features five distinctive food shops, and it is similar to a food court, so each member of your family can choose different foods. The Landscape of Flavors is one of my favorite quick-service restaurants in Walt Disney World. Also, check out the Ink and Paint Shop, located in front of the Landscape of Flavors Restaurant. Another fun way to get to Disney's Art of Animation Resort would be to go to Disney's Hollywood Studios and take the Disney Skyliner from there to Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

I hope your family's exploration of Disney's Art of Animation is magical in every way!
