Meeting characters at the Disneyland Resort always warms my heart and makes my visits feel extra magical.
During your visit, head over to
San Fransokyo Square in
Disney California Adventure Park where you'll find Baymax outside the Hamada Bot Shop giving the best squishy hugs and fist bumps paired with a "Bah-a-la-la-la." On a scale of one to ten, I would rate meeting Baymax a 10. While Baymax often needs to take time to recharge his battery, the best place to find the times that he's available is in the Disneyland app. Be sure to download this handy app upon your arrival. You can navigate to the map and tap the "Characters" icon from the top to find Baymax and the times he is available throughout the day.
To continue to have a Baymax-filled day, walk over to Aunt Cass Café where you'll find the iconic (and delicious) Baymax Bread. And just a few steps away at Lucky Fortune Cookery, you'll find the Baymax Macaron to satisfy any sweet craving you might have. When you're in Disneyland Park, be sure to stick around for
Wondrous Journeys before the end of the night. You just might see a certain superhero fly across Sleeping Beauty Castle. As Baymax would say, “Flying makes me a better care provider.”
I'm brimming with excitement for you and your
first visit to Disneyland. Make sure to pick up a complimentary "1st Visit!" button to commemorate the occasion and take home as a fun souvenir. You can find these in many of the shops along Main Street, U.S.A. Just ask a friendly Cast Member. You can also pick up an autograph book for your son to collect signatures from all of the characters that he meets during your visit. You're going to make so many unforgettable memories meeting characters.
