Hi there, Pam!
I'm happy to welcome you to planDisney! I love that you are looking to get every magical hour out of your visit. Some of my favorite park memories are going from "rope drop" at opening to closing down the park at night! I hope you've got some good walking shoes because you'll definitely get some serious miles in!
The
Hours & Events Calendar is the best way to choose a day for your visit if park hours are your priority. When looking at the site on the computer I recommend using the "5-Day View" by clicking the button on the top right. Looking through the calendar, I'm starting to see some 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM days towards the end of April and into May. Most of them look like Fridays and Saturdays so far, although I am seeing some weekdays in Disneyland Park that go to 11:00 PM as well. It's likely as we get closer to summer that the parks will continue to extend their hours. We should start seeing summer dates on the calendar in the next few weeks! Hours are always subject to change, so keep a close eye on the calendar leading up to your visit.
With a nice, long park day I always recommend looking for a
dining reservation so you can sit back and relax for a little while. If you aren't able to find a reservation, try the
walk-up option in the
Disneyland Mobile App! I love discovering new things at the parks—you might also enjoy the brand new
Celebrating Disney100 at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour. As a bonus, the tour includes reserved viewing for the wonderful
"Magic Happens" Parade!
Have fun planning your marathon Disney day with your lucky kiddo, Pam! I hope it's the best day ever!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
