My son is listed as the wrong age. How do I update his ticket

    Hiya Andrea!

Welcome to planDisney! Visiting Walt Disney World in August is one of my favorite ways of ending my summer season! Before school and those many responsibilities and deadlines I find an end-of-summer Disney jaunt a pleasant diversion.

It's very easy to edit a child's age that is managed by you. Head over to your My Disney Experience account and log in. Look for your Family & Friends list. On my computer, it is the first circle icon on the top of three rounded emoji people. I click on "View List" and I can see myself and all the people in my family that I manage. Click next to your child's name the word "Update." It's here that you edit their birthday. Make sure to click "Save."

If you are still having issues I would reach out to the lovely Cast Members that work with "My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+."

I think you might be fortunate to overlap your trip with the first day of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party which begins August 11. If you can make it, try to secure your tickets ASAP as it is a can't-be-missed event! It's a lot of fun with a special parade, nighttime spectacular, and character meet-and-greets. Don't forget the candy!

I hope you have a fabulous time no matter what you do! Let us know if you have any more questions!

    Happy Planning!

Meet the Panelist: Nimmy, New York

Hey, it's Nimmy from New York! Just like my guy Jiminy Cricket I am your wisecracking and helpful guide to making the best decisions for your Disney vacation! My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
