My son likes to nap in his carrier when we are out and about. Are there any rides I can go on with him still in the carrier? Also are there any shows that I can stand in the back of and rock him? We are doing Disney World in Sept and Disneyland in Dec

Hi Brandy! There is no hard and fast rule when it comes to the attractions and using a carrier. Sometimes it will depend on if there is a lap bar or what direction the baby is facing while in the carrier. Many times you are allowed to keep the infants in the carriers but before you wait in line it is best to check with the cast member at the entrance to each attraction to see what the specific rules might be. If you are traveling with another adult you can consider using the Rider Swap system if you are not able to ride with the carrier in place.

There are a few auditorium type seating attractions that might allow you to stand in the back but many times you are asked to stay seated due to safety reasons. The cast members know that the lights will be turned down during a show and can't have guests walking around. I suggest you ask for the back row handicapped area if it is available as that would be your best chance for a quiet rocking spot.

Lucky you to be visiting both the Disney parks in Florida and then Disney in California all within a few months of each other. If you have specific Disneyland questions be sure and ask our Disneyland Moms as they can fill you in on all that is going on in those great western parks!
