My son in law has back problems and sometimes has to lie down quietly to help relieve the pain. I know there are first aid centres in the parks and wonder if these would accommodate him having some quiet time? Thank you

    Hi Roger!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help!

I'm sorry to hear about your son-in-law's back problems. I'm happy that he's still able to enjoy the parks, even though he might need to rest and stretch during the day.

Walt Disney World Resort does a great job of accommodating guests with minor medical issues and other health problems. Each of the four theme parks has a First Aid Center, and there's typically a cot or couch available for guests suffering from dehydration or those who've become overheated. I'm sure they would be happy to help your son-in-law if he has a flare-up with his back pain.

The First Aid Stations locations are as follows:
    • Magic Kingdom Park: Next to Crystal Palace Restaurant
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios: At the main entrance, inside the Guest Relations building
    • Epcot: In the Odyssey Center complex
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom: Discovery Island, behind Starbucks

I hope this helps with your planning, and I hope your son-in-law enjoys a fun and pain-free vacation! - Diane W.
