My son keeps saying he wants to build a sandcastle on the beach at our resort. I have read about sandplay being allowed at other resorts, but can he build a sandcastle at the Grand Floridian? If so - are sand toys available to purchase? Thanks!

    Hello, Marilyn Carol -

Good news!  I just called the Grand Floridian (GF) and found out it is perfectly acceptable for your son to play in the sand on the GF beach.  There are also lounge chairs on the beach so that you can watch him play.  I was also told that sand toys are available for purchase in the gift shop.

    Enjoy!  Diane
