My son isn't fully potty trained and is older than the age for the splash area for little kids. He has down syndrome. Could he go to the little kids are?

Ahoy there, Brady!  Welcome to planDisney!

We all like to splash around on Disney Cruise Line, but there are some guidelines we must follow.  The United States Public Health Service requires that only children who are toilet trained are permitted to go into swimming pools and spas.  Guests who are not toilet trained can enjoy the wet play areas and splash zones while wearing a swim diaper.   I'm not sure which ship you will be sailing on, but the Disney Fantasy, Disney Wonder, and Disney Magic have the water playground AquaLab with its leaky pipes and geysers to splash around in.  Nemo's Reef on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream is a splash pad made for young Guests ages 8 years and younger.  I hope one of these options gets you excited for your upcoming vacation!

Brady, the Information for Guests with Disabilities or Medical Conditions guide may be helpful to review before you sail away to make sure you have the best information available. You can also call the Disney Cruise Line Help Center to ask more specific questions.  planDisney is here for you as well.  Sail by anytime.

    Adventure is out there!
