My son is 11 so isn't considered a kid when dining however he's a picky eater. At the non-buffet restaurants - are there any deviations from the menu as to what the kids can order? @ Akershus, he wouldn't like anything offered, an example.

    Hi Star,

My kids aren't picky eaters, but my father is.  It's been my experience that the folks at Disney do their very best to make guests happy.  Although I've never tried it at Akershus, I've seen my father order adult portions of items from the kids' menu with ease.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
