My son is interested in a Disney wish cruise leaving April 20-24 2026, out of Port Canaveral Florida. He has 4 children, ages 2, 4, 6, 8. He wants to know the cost of a suite that would accomodate the 6 of them.

    Hi, Linda!

What an exciting vacation to plan. My family loves sailing aboard the lovely Disney Wish. I'm sure your son and his family will be thrilled with their experience.

As you may have noticed, the Find a Cruise online tool only supports booking a given stateroom for a family of up to five Guests. Five staterooms on the Disney Wish can accommodate six or more Guests. Oh boy! They are special concierge staterooms! They include the amazing Funnel Suite with gorgeous Moana-themed decor and luxurious amenities. Booking larger parties in those staterooms deserves VIP treatment available only by calling the Disney Cruise Line for personal support as only Disney can provide.

There are six members of my family too. So I'm very familiar with cruising with Captain Minnie and Captain Mickey with a larger party. The concierge suites that could accommodate our family are usually beyond my family's budget. But that doesn't mean that Disney cruises are out of reach for us. What's our secret? It's booking two staterooms instead of one. By booking two staterooms in a lower category, we end up saving quite a bit on our reservations. That way we get to cruise again that much sooner!

The Find a Cruise tool can also be used to book two staterooms at once. We usually split our party with one adult and two children in each stateroom. After selecting the desired itinerary and sail date, the tool even has the option to search only for connecting staterooms so everyone can still be together. It's like building a multi-room suite of your own. I was able to experiment a bit with the online booking tool to price out two staterooms for a family like your son's. I found a range of options from about $7,650 for two inside staterooms to about $9,621 for two Deluxe Family Oceanview Staterooms with Verandahs. While I couldn't directly check the pricing for a party of six in the larger concierge suites, I estimate that the savings for booking two staterooms would be about 75% - 85%. Now, that seems like a great deal to me! Prices are subject to change. So I recommend calling or checking online soon for the best possible deals.

Tony's Tip: There's one more special secret about booking two staterooms that I would like to share with you. I'm sure those with larger families like your son and me will appreciate this. When booking two staterooms, we get to enjoy the benefits of twice the number of bathrooms! With Disney Cruise Line's innovative split bathroom design available in the "Deluxe" stateroom categories, it is effectively as if our family seemingly has four bathrooms to use. That is a luxurious benefit that I don't think we'll ever want to give up. It sure makes getting ready for dinner after a fun day of exploring Disney Castaway Cay feel that much less stressful and more like the enjoyable vacation we all want!

Thanks for your question, Linda. As fellow Disney Parks Guests like you, your son, and your families, we take great joy in sharing tips and advice to help make your Disney vacations memorable and magical. Please feel free to visit us again if you have any more questions.

    See ya real soon!
