My son is 40 inches exactly. Will he be able to get a bracelet labeling him 40 inches, so that he won't have to be measured each time he goes on a bigger ride? My fear is that since he's right at 40" some may let him on the bigger rides while some may

Welcome to the Moms Panel Cindy!  We're so glad you're hEAR!

Disney doesn't issue bracelets indicating that guests meet a certain height.  They measure guests at each attraction.  I've always kept in mind that safety is always first and told my boys that we'd try but told them we'd have to see what the Cast Member said when we got there.  When my boys met the requirement at one attraction, we haven't had any problems at any of the other attractions but I always told them that so that they wouldn't be too disappointed if we got turned away.  I also told them that meant we'd have to start planning our next trip when they are a little taller.

I always try to keep everything upbeat and positive because children often take the lead on their parents' feelings about things.  When things don't exactly work out, we move on to the next thing and don't let it ruin our trip.  We take it in stride and consider it part of the adventure.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
