Howdy Jessica!
I love it when a fellow Texan stops by planDisney with a question for us.
I am so grateful for family vacations at The Most Magical Place on Earth, especially because it feels so inclusive. My family uses the
Disability Access Service (DAS) as well, and it has made such a difference for my little Mouseketeer. As you know, the Disability Access Service is a program offered at Walt Disney World Resort to help Guests who cannot tolerate extended waits in a conventional queue due to a disability.
You’re awesome, Jessica! It sounds like you’ve taken advantage of the Pre-Registration for DAS Advance virtually! I called to speak to a
friendly Cast Member at Disability Services and was told that you may want another pre-registration video chat for DAS to get your son set up again. Your husband would need to have DAS set up on his own
My Disney Experience account, and your Mouseketeer may need to be set up on your account with DAS. If you’d rather not wait for the video chat, you could stop by the
Guest Relations at any of the parks, and they’ll be happy to help get your son set up with the service.
It also sounds like you may be going with a large party. If this is the case, I’d love to give you a few tips when I go with my extended family. We like to list priorities of what’s most important for us. And we always tell everyone that it’s alright to split up because everyone may have different priorities. We like ending our day by having a meal together and discussing our magical adventures. Speaking of meals, I hope you’ve made some delightful
Dining Reservations.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic, Jessica. Have an enchanting visit.
Aena
