My son is a huge fan of Mickey and for his 4th birthday we will be celebrating it at Disney World. I would like to know how do I plan a party at Disney?

Hi DeWonda! What a special 4th birthday your son will have while at Walt Disney World! It will certainly be one he will remember forever.

There are different options for you to consider. You can simply make a special dining reservation at a spot that would be fun for your son. Then add to that a cake made just for him or use the standard ones that the restaurants all have on hand. You can bring little favors and gifts with you to make it more exciting. Most of the restaurants will even have some of the servers sing to the birthday guest. Remember to add hats for everyone at the table with a great big birthday one for the guest of honor, your son! Custom cakes can be ordered by calling 407-827-2253.

You can also actually plan a birthday party at Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney. Different themes will include invitations, favors, games, balloon, and treats. It includes a host as well and you can call them at 407-WDW-BDAY for more information! The parties last usually about an hour and a half and are for guests three and older.

Last but not least you can also order a big beautiful room decoration by calling the Disney florist.. Check out the options at their website, www.disneyflorist.com. They can swoop in magically when you are out and have a huge surprise waiting for your son when you return.

Hope this gives you some ideas to make his 4th even more special! Let us know what else we can do to help with the planning!
