My son and I are headed to WDW in July, and our filght arrives earlier then check-in time. We are getting picked up by Disney transportation. What are we supposed to do till it is time to check in?

    Hello Sarah!

Woo Hoo!  Your MAGICAL trip to Walt Disney World is only a few months away!  You and your son are going to have the BEST time!

What a great question!  When you arrive at your Disney Resort from riding Disney's Magical Express, go straight to the lobby area to check-in.  There is a possibility that there could be a room available for early check-in.  That way you can get into your room and get situated before your FUN begins!

If a room is not available...I have some GREAT news for YOU!  When you check-in, a Cast Member will give you your Key to the World Card.  This card will eventually become your Resort Room Key, but it is also your Disney Theme Park Ticket!  Go check-in your carry-on bags at the resort for free and head directly to one of the Disney Parks!  When you get back to the resort, you can then find out where your room is!  Many times your luggage from Disney's Magical Express will already be in your room.  There have been several times where our carry-on luggage we checked in at our Disney Resort was already taken to our room as well.

If you don't want to go to a Disney Park, then pack your swim suits in your carry-on luggage and go swimming!  My family has done this as kids LOVE IT!

I hope this helps you in your planning!  If you have other questions, please let me know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
