My son and I are headed to DW March 1-8. We just booked the trip and are on short planning. I've been researching for the last 3 days of places to eat. At this short notice, is it best for me to just call and ask the open times for our choices? Thanks

    Hi Carly,

I wouldn't give up hope!  If you act quickly, and make a list of two or three choices for each time slot/meal you are interested in dining at, you should still be able to get some great reservations.  The spring break crowds tend to start pouring in a bit later in March, so if you call soon (meaning, today or tomorrow) you should get some of your top choices.   You might want to try dining at atypical hours (lunch at 2, rather than 12 for example) for better luck.

The cast members on the reservation lines are very helpful, knowledgeable and patient, so if you find that your top picks aren't available, they are great at suggesting alternatives that are free at the time spot you need.  I would start with the character meals first, as these tend to fill up fastest.

    Have a great trip!
