Hello Christine,
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for taking the time to stop by with such an important question for us to help you with today.
Christine, I'm sorry to hEAR that your dEAR son is appEARing to have difficulties in
deleting a Family and Friends Invitation that he's sent via this My Disney Experience account. With just a little faith, hope, and pixie dust I'm going to try and help with this little technical glitch!
Typically, when Guests send
Family and Friends invitations via email to connect via My Disney Experience, an invite will appEAR as Invite Pending until the recipient either accepts or declines. It might be worth bearing in mind that children are unable to accept invitations to connect, it falls to their parents or guardians to accept on their behalf.
To the best of my current knowledge, I don't believe that an already sent
Family and Friends invite can be deleted by the sender via their
My Disney Experience account. However, all is not lost as it's always possible to speak directly with a helpful Cast Member who will be able to fully access your son's My Disney Experience account and make any appropriate amendments where necessary.
To connect with a Cast Member, please dial the UK freephone number for
Technical and Website Support contained within this handy
Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory; remember in the first instance that Guests under the age of 18 yEARs must have the permission of their parent or guardian to call.
Christine, I hope that I've been able to offer a little reassurance to both you and your lovely son today. If either of you should have any further questions relating to your 2022 holiday plans to visit the most magical place on earth, then please do pop back to
me here at planDisney where I'm always happy to help a fellow Guest from the United Kingdom!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
