My son is having his 13th birthday while we are at WDW. I want to do something special, but many of the celebrations seem to be for younger kids. Any suggestions?

    Ginger:

With a teenager myself, I understand your dilemma.

Have you thought about something outside the parks? Like taking in a game at Atlanta Braves Spring Training? or a fishing excursion out on one of the lakes?

What about something that is in the park but "in depth" (pardon the pun) like Epcot's DiveQuest?

Or even something the entire family can enjoy like a fireworks cruise?

If these don't peak your interest, you now customize your Celebration on the Disney website and sort ideas by occasion, age, etc.

Wishing you a magical vacation, and your son a magical birthday!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
