Our son is handicapped and we are interested in renting a bath chair like what we have at home. We will be staying at shades of green. Does anyone have an ideas on rental places

Greetings Jennifer! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're so happy you stopped by with your planning question.

You must be excited that your adventure to the Most Magical Place on Earth is almost here. Let the magic begin! I'm so glad you will be a guest of the lovely and tranquil Shades of Green, and I'd like to thank your family for service to our country. I did a little investigating for you, Jennifer, and I'm happy to report that there are a few options for making your resort room bathing area feel a little more like home.

First, I recommend you contact Shades of Green to make them aware of any special requirements and requests for your stay. You can reach them via their toll-free reservation line, 888-593-2242, or e-mail, eservations@shadesofgreen.org. If they do not have any onsite devices for you to use, Orlando Medical Rentals offers a variety of accessibility equipment available for delivery to resorts in the Walt Disney World Resort. Free delivery and pickup are included in the price of your rental, and they have a wide assortment of shower and bath rentals. I'm sure you will find something that fits your family's needs.

I hope this helps as you finalize details for your upcoming vacation. Be sure to familiarize yourself with some of the services for guests with disabilities that might benefit your party. Walt Disney World is such a wonderful, accommodating place for guests of all mobilities, and I wish you and your family a memorable visit. If any other questions or concerns arise as your trip approaches, please come back and see us again.

    See ya real soon!
