Hi Lisa,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a wonderful event to celebrate. As a former high school teacher, I remember high school graduations well!
If your son is a photographer, the behind the scenes tours at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park can provide spectacular views of the animals. We have also enjoyed special dining experiences. Last summer, we did Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner show. The dancers were amazing!
There are also dining packages that will give you access to special viewing areas for certain nighttime shows. We loved the
Rivers of Light Dining Package with Tusker House Restaurant. Although your son may not want to dine with characters, the buffet was terrific and he may enjoy the many food options. Our reserved seating area for the show was just lovely. If you arrive early enough, get a seat closer to the front. There are some details in the performance that are easier to see close-up.
In Epcot, check out the
entertainment around World Showcase. The Voices of Liberty in the American Adventure Pavilion are superb. In Magic Kingdom, be sure to see the
Happily Ever After fireworks - on our last visit, we found a viewing spot about an hour and a half before the show.
Lisa, make dining reservations for special venues. We love to dine during the fireworks at California Grill and 'Ohana. Be sure to note your celebration, arrive early to check-in and request a window table. Cast members will do their best to accommodate your request!
Finally, check out all things Star Wars - May the Force be with you!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
