My son will be 14 when we go to Disney World in May 2018. We have reservations at at least one table service restaurant per day. He is a very picky eater, and only likes the food on the children’s menu. Will he be allowed to order from the children’s menu?

    Hi Crystal!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of the things I love about trips to Walt Disney World Resort is that all of the Cast Members work so hard to make sure that all Guests have an incredible vacation. In my experience, this is especially true of the chefs and servers in all of the restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. If your son finds that he would prefer to enjoy one of the meals from the children's menu, speak to your server when ordering to determine how your son can be best accommodated and if there will be an additional charge for his portion.

For buffet-style restaurants, the children's portion of the buffet is open and available for all Guests. So your son and the rest of your family are welcome to freely enjoy options from that section, as well as the rest of the buffet, during your meal. I have definitely enjoyed a corn dog nugget or macaroni and cheese from the children's areas at many of the Walt Disney World buffets in addition to the other food offered!

If you have any other questions as you plan for your trip, please don't hesitate to come back and see us! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
