My son has some foot issues that makes him unable to stand for long periods or work for more an 30 mins. without being fatigued Can I rent a wheelchair for him at the park?

    Paula:

Disney makes no judgement on who qualifies for or needs a wheelchair. You can rent them in every theme park along with Downtown Disney and signage is very good for rental locations within the entrance gates. Rental costs $12 a day with some locations requiring a deposit. You can't take the wheelchairs out of the parks but can take your rental receipt if you decide to Park Hop. If you think your son might need a wheelchair at your resort, you may want to consider a length-of-stay rental from one of the local businesses Disney lists here.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
