My son, who is 4, has some food allergies (nuts, eggs, fish, dairy). We were planning on getting a dining plan and were wondering if substitutions on the kids meals were allowed if it were needed for health concerns such as allergies.

    Hi Victoria!

Disney is very "user-friendly" for folks with food allergies, and can accommodate many special dietary requests.  You will absolutely be able to make substitutions/modifications for your son with a little pre-planning.  The best thing to do, is to note your son's dietary restrictions and your concerns when making your advanced dining reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463).  Simply tell the Cast Member helping you with reservations what your needs are, and they will be noted on the reservation.  When you arrive for your meal, the chef will visit your table to confirm what your son can and cannot eat, and will work out a meal that suits your needs.

    Have a wonderful trip.
