My son will have his first Disney trip next year to celebrate his 3rd bday. We plan on doing Chef Mickey, but what are other character meals that a boy might enjoy. I know there are several princess options, but are there any boy centered character meals?

I cannot think of a better place then Walt Disney World to celebrate a birthday. It is what making precious memories are all about. I am happy to provide you some assistance. However, before we get to where to eat, you should take trip to the Magic Kingdom to City Hall on Main Street U.S.A.  Here, your son will receive a Birthday Celebration Recognition Button with his name on it. He may also get a birthday wish from Goofy via antique phone! We always got our kids the special 'It's my Birthday' Mickey Mouse Ears to wear on that special day. With this combo your son will receive birthday wishes from cast members and park guests alike. It will make him feel really wonderful on this special day. As for Character Dining options, there are so many.  options from Cape May Cafe with Goofy and pals to 1900 Park Fare with Alice in Wonderland and all her friends. I would recommend the Hollywood and Vine character dining at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here he can meet Jake and the Pirates, the Little Einsteins and other Disney Channel buddies. I suggest you

look over the many options, choose the one that you think will create the most magic and then make that reservation as soon possible using the convenient Disney Dining Reservation system. I hope this helps you have a great vacation and birthday celebration.
