My son and his fiancée are planning their wedding and looking for a place to have an intimate family event. They have to save up money so we were wondering if you could give us a rough idea what the budget should be. Party number 6 adults and 2 kids

Hi Mary Ellen! My own daughter was married at Walt Disney World about nine years ago and it was an unbelievable wedding week. Her wedding was rather large but size doesn't matter when it comes to the Disney touch. Costs are steep but be sure you look at all the perks and what is included before you decide it isn't for you. They will truly make it a fairy tale memory for your son and his fiance and the rest of your family.

Disney offers three categories for weddings and the size you mentioned comes under the Escape title. You can read more about it by clicking HERE. Sample pricing can be found here for 2012 rates and again please look at all that is included. Click HERE. There is a Memories category but that is for up to six people including the bride and groom so you just miss that number but it is always good to check with them.

If you have any questions at all about planning a Disney wedding please feel free to ask me as we had the best experience possible and are still in contact with those we worked with. It will be a truly magical day for your family!
