Amy, The Pirates League at the Magic Kingdom is such a fun experience for kids and adults. I did talk with a Cast Member about your situation. Unfortunately, your son needs to be three years old to partake in this experience. They make no exceptions. The Mermaid package will still be there in September. They just started this, and my girls have not experienced this yet. It looks amazing! I love the special mermaid makeup and hairstyle! I would recommend going to Downtown Disney or Animal Kingdom for your son as there is face painting available for kids of all ages. I hope you have a magical vacation, Amy.
