Hello Arash,
Welcome to planDisney! We’re so delighted you sailed by with your question. It’s always a joy to help guests navigate the ins and outs of their
Disney Cruise Line adventure.
I have some great news. Since you are your son’s parent, there’s no need to bring any additional documentation beyond a valid passport for him. That means you can leave the birth certificate at home and focus on the excitement of your upcoming voyage. We recently sailed with a unique family dynamic where everyone had a different last name, and we encountered no issues at all. You can rest assured that Disney Cruise Line has everything in place to make your check-in smooth and seamless.
No matter how old your son is, he’s in for an unforgettable adventure. From the fantastically themed
kids’ clubs bursting with Disney magic to thrilling water slides and imaginative dining experiences, his days at sea will be packed with wonder and excitement. Whether he’s training with Marvel heroes,
dancing with Mickey and friends, or discovering the magic of Disney’s
Broadway-style shows, there’s something special around every corner just waiting to make his vacation truly enchanting.
Pro planDisney tip: Plan your trip to arrive the
day ahead of your sailing. I am not sure if there is anything sadder than having an airline delay cause you to miss the ship!
Wishing you both a voyage sprinkled with pixie dust and unforgettable moments. If you have any more questions, we’re always happy to help.
Bon voyage!
Anne
