our son and family are spending a week inside the parks.. we are going to visit them for 2 days, we are staying in a motel outside of the parks,, we are both seniors and disabled.. do we have to pay to get into the parks just to visit them for a few hrs

    Hi Lyn,

Your son and his family is sure to have a great time visiting Walt Disney World, and I think it's wonderful that you'll get to experience some of their excitement!

Unfortunately, in order to get into a park you'll need to pay full admission -- whether you choose to stay 1 hour and simply walk around or 10 hours and ride every attraction.  There are, however, some alternative options.  Maybe you could meet at a restaurant in one of the resorts and enjoy a meal together.  Dining at a character restaurant might be fun; you would get to experience some of the excitement when your grandchildren meet their favorite characters.  Likewise, walking around Downtown Disney is fun and FREE.  The same is true for strolling along the Boardwalk.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
