My Son and his family will be at the Grand Floridian Aug 16-24 this year. I was wondering if it's possible to arrange a gift certificate of credit to his account to pay for meals during their stay?

    Greetings, Charles!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so delighted to hear that your son is planning an adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth. He chose a fantastic resort to call his home away from home during his upcoming visit. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa offers beautiful castle views and incredible dining. There is no shortage of absolutely delicious menu options throughout each of the restaurants located at this breathtaking resort.

It is so very generous and kind of you to inquire about such an amazing gift for your family. I am sure they will be beyond excited to try some of the amazing dining spots at their hotel and throughout Walt Disney World Resort. There are hundreds of locations, so there is sure to be a restaurant to please any pallet and a variety of iconic snacks that will put a smile on their faces. While you cannot apply credit towards your son's upcoming trip,  I have a few recommendations for you to give the gift of delicious. The first is a Disney Gift Card. You can easily purchase one online in a matter of minutes. Disney Gift Cards can be used at most Walt Disney World Resort dining locations and can be sent digitally if you won't have the opportunity to see your son before the big adventure. Your son can use it on the go as they dine, or he can apply it to charges he made to his hotel before checking out of the resort.

If you are looking to pre-arrange an extra special dining experience, check out the Enchanting Extras Collection on the Walt Disney World website. There are fireworks dessert parties and dinner options that offer fabulous views of the newest nighttime spectaculars. You will also find unique dining tours including Savor the Savanna which offers a private safari and tasty African-inspired cuisine with incredible views. You can even book a table at Cinderella's Royal Table for a truly special meal within the magnificent castle. Many of these options request payment in advance, so you can arrange this for your son with no worries!

I hope that these tips help you plan an incredible meal or two for your Ohana!
Stop back anytime with questions, friend!
