Hiya Heather,
Welcome to planDisney!
Dining at Walt Disney World Resort is one of my not-so-secret passions. I love the wide range of dishes available at all of the different table service locations. I also love that when I want some chicken fingers and fries, I can satisfy that craving.
Even the pickiest eaters can find something to enjoy at the Most Magical Place on Earth. As a mom, I completely understand that your little Mouseketeer may only be interested in enjoying something off of the menu sometimes. I have definitely seen Guests sometimes bring outside food into different locations, but I was unaware of any designated policy about this. Luckily, I was able to get in touch with a Cast Member who was able to “dig a little deeper” for me. Unfortunately, there is no set policy allowing outside food into a table service location. It truly depends upon the location whether or not it is permitted. For example, some signature dining and restaurants that require pre-payment are not likely to allow outside food. I recommend speaking to the Cast Member at the host stand at the location when you arrive to see if they would allow you to bring in a different meal for your little one.
I hope this was helpful, Heather. As a
reminder, make sure that your outside food is not in a glass container and doesn’t require heating, reheating, refrigeration, or temperature control. Please come back and see us if there is anything else we can help with.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
