My son is very excited about celebrating his birthday in WDW in May. When I asked him about souvenirs, he was wondering what he could get for his teachers (he's in 6th grade and has 6 teachers). Suggestions for modest gifts that teachers would appreciate?

    Hi, Sheryl!

I just love hearing how excited your son is to celebrate his birthday at Walt Disney World! I honestly can't think of a much better place to celebrate a birthday. Be sure to pick up his free Birthday button as soon as you arrive. You are going to have such a fantastic time!

My kiddos have always loved to bring home little goodies for their teachers as well, and with six of them, you definitely need some cost effective options. We've often purchased a set of pens and split the set up to give one out to each teacher. This is a great option because you can usually pick up a set of six pens for around $10. There are also great little notepads that teachers can never have enough of! They usually run just under $5 each. Another option could be a little keychain. Often times, I've spotted really cute ones at the World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney for less than $3 a piece!

I hope that gives you a place to start, Sheryl! Thank you so much for visiting us here on the Moms Panel with your question.

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
