Olivia,I think you planned an excellent time to come to WDW. During the holiday's WDW has many special events. The only event that requires a special ticket is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. There are only a limited amount of tickets sold, so the crowds are kept light. The party takes place in the Magic Kingdom in early evening after it has closed to day visitors.
Once you click on the first link that I included you will see that there is plenty going on all over WDW for holidays. You are not going to run out of things to do and see in five days. If you are trying to stick to a certain budget, you may consider skipping the extra costs associated with the party. If, however, you are coming to WDW especial for the holidays and want to take in as much Christmas activity as possible, then go for the extra tickets. The last time we looked into it, the tickets were less than $55 a person. You can buy them from you travel agent or call WDW at (407)939-6244.
I have been fortunate enough to be on the Walt Disney World Moms Panel since 2008. As a Disney World enthusiast, I can’t imagine a greater opportunity. My husband, our 6-year-old daughter, and I visit WDW a few times a year.
Visit Walt Disney World Resort to explore the magic.
