Bright Suns, Christopher!
News of your visit will be well received by our Resistance Forces on Batuu! The Gatherers at
Savi's Workshop will be honored to welcome your young Jedi for training. When we took our young Jedi to Savi's Workshop, we had a similar situation, our girls were 12-years old and all four of us built a lightsaber. Like you, I was a little worried since it said at least one person in the party had to be 14-years old or older but we were able to build. I will say that we all had to focus. There really was not time for one of us (the adults) to help one of the girls so consider your son's ability to build independently.
While on Batuu, I recommend you take some time to hone those flying skills on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and stop by
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities to explore some of the intergalactic treasures. And, remember to take some time to rest and catch up with other Resistance fighters at
Oga's Cantina. Stay alert. On one visit, a First Order operative entered Oga's and demanded that we share information. We all remained silent!
Christopher, looking at your planetary arrival date, I want to stress the importance of reserving that lightsaber build at Savi's Workshop right when your
60-day reservation window opens. Also consider the time of your build. You may want to schedule it at time that will be just before you leave the park to go back to the room for a break or at the end of a day. If so, then you can just take the lightsabers back to the room to store them before the adventures continue. We need every ally trained to join the Cause!
Good journey,
Donyell
