I want to take my son to Disney World for his 3rd birthday. I am planning on going Labor day weekend. 8/30 - 09/03. My son will be 2 for two days of the trip and 3 for one day. How do I need to purchase the tickets?

You've chosen such a fabulous spot to celebrate your son's birthday, Sarah.  He's at the perfect age to enjoy the magic of Disney!  And...I'm happy to pass along some great news.  That is, you should plan your tickets according to the age of your child when the trip begins.  Because he'll be two at the start of your trip, you needn't purchase park admission for him for the duration of your vacation; he'll enjoy complimentary admission to the parks the entire time.  That can equate to a big savings.  Congratulations and happy early birthday to your little man!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
