    My son and I have a dinner res. at Boma for 6:30, AK closes at 6 on 10/17/12. We are staying at PO-R, can you tell me the best way to get back to our hotel? Since the park will be closed and we will be leaving restaurant late.

    Hi Pam,

    Boma is a great restaurant with so many food options.  You can be as adventurous or as cautious as your tastebuds allow - don't forget to try the Zebra Domes (YUM!). Plus, Animal Kingdom Lodge is a gorgeous resort.  Make sure you take some time to look out on the savanna.

    Actually, Animal Kingdom Lodge isn't anywhere near Animal Kingdom - as far as bus transportation is concerned.  If you're spending the day at a theme park, you can get to Animal Kingdom Lodge directly from the park.  If you're leaving from Port Orleans, you'll want to travel to Downtown Disney and then transfer buses to Animal Kingdom Lodge to get to dinner.  On the way home, you'll do the opposite - take the bus from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Downtown, then get on a bus to Port Orleans.
