Bright Suns, Audur! It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad that we can answer your question before you take off for your trip to the planet Batuu this week. As you're finalizing your plans, let's chat about what you can do if one of the experiences that you wanted to book doesn't have any openings available during your vacation.
Guests from around the galaxy are loving getting the chance to craft their own lightsabers at
Savi's Workshop and it has become one of the most popular things to do at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Reservations open 180 days in advance so if you're not seeing any times available it's likely that all of the appointments that were available for advance booking have been reserved. I wouldn't worry just yet though, because it's possible that you may still be able to get in. I recommend that you keep checking for open availability through
My Disney Experience because guests are changing their plans all the time so you never know what might pop up. If you don't find any time slots that you can reserve in advance, I recommend stopping by Savi's Workshop first thing in the morning when you get to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. The "Gatherers" will have all of the most up to date information about availability and they'll let you know if they've had any cancelations or openings, or if they're operating a standby line. Lightsabers are also available for purchase at
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, so if your son would like to have a look at the famous weapons of the legendary Jedi and Sith Masters and choose a replica to take home with him, that would be the place to do it!
'Til the Spire, Audur, and may the Force be with you!
