My son and daughter are obsessed with Moana and Maui, and so are their preschool friends. Where can we meet and greet them? We are Florida residents and would love information on how this Disney Magic can happen for them, thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nora! Make way, make way, Moana is a hot topic at Walt Disney World Resort! While Moana is greeting guests over at Aulani in Hawaii, I’m sad to say she doesn’t cross the sea as often as I’d like to greet guests in Florida.

Moana did make surprise appearances at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party this year, but I’m still awaiting a sign from Te Fiti that she will return to us again. I would love an opportunity to learn Grandma’s dance from her in Aventureland, wouldn’t you? Or grab a “tweet” bird signature from her for our family autograph book! Alas, we’ll have to keep our eyes on the navigation stars and the Disney Parks Blog for more news of when we may see her again. You can find some Moana merchandise in Adventureland or the Moana Mercantile at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Aside from the great Stitch collection, this is where I’ve found some costumes, collectibles, toys and books to entertain my little Maui fans. Our favorite is the oversized Golden Book that details the movie’s scenes with colorful pictures and great chunks of text that my elementary schooler can tackle.

If I can help you wayfind another vacation topic to cover, please let me know. I’ll be here fending off the Kakamora and getting decorating tips from Tamotoa! ~Lindsey P.
