    My son, daughter, myself plus one wanted to sign up for the Expedition Everest Challenge. We were all discussing our schedules and it sold out. I am so disappointed! Does run Disney ever open extra spots? Could we just show up and hope?

    I am so sorry to hear the 2014 Expedition Everest Challenge sold out before you were able to secure registrations for you and your family. I have confirmed with runDisney the race is indeed at capacity and further registrations opportunities will not be available. I also inquired on the availability of running under a charity, and unfortunately due to the small size of this event they do not offer this as an option.

    runDisney events are becoming increasingly popular and are selling out in record time. If you are interested in any other events in the runDisney race series, I suggest signing up for runDisney Email Notifications. This is a free service and will keep you up to date on registration and race details. I hope you are looking forward to having a magical time while you are vacationing at the Walt Disney World® Resort! May will be here before you know it.
