My son and daughter in law went there last year. They did it on a pay plan can you advise me on this. I'm a veteran who would love to take his wife their and have a wonderful time. It would be an honey moon that we never had.

    Welcome to planDisney Donald!

I first want to begin by sending a huge thank you from my military family to yours! If you are a, retired member of the U.S. Military, you may be eligible for a great military promotion. If not, there are still some incredible Special Offers, Deals & Discounts available for you to use! I’m so excited to hEAR that you are looking to plan a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Have you already started doing your resEARch on places you might like to stay or what you might like to do during your visit? If you haven’t, I recommend starting to do so. This will help you decide what you will want to experience while visiting.

Most of my visits to Walt Disney World Resort have been with my young Mouseketeers. When traveling with them, I favor themed resorts like Disney’s Art of Animation Resort and other Value Resorts. We typically choose staying at a Value Resort with our little ones because they much rather spend their day in the parks, rather than the resort. Since you are planning a trip for you and your wife, I suggest viewing all the different resorts available, since they do each offer a variety of different things. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, for example, is newly re-imagined and is absolutely beautiful! It is a resort I know my husband and I would enjoy together. Honestly, Donald it just depends on what the both of you want to experience while visiting.

After you’ve found where you want to stay and what you want to do, then comes the fun part, booking your vacation! Once you’ve selected your resort and added your theme park tickets to your vacation package, you will be all set to check out. You will be charged a deposit amount, and the remainder of the cost will be due closer to your arrival date. While there is no payment plan per se, you are welcome to log in to your My Disney Experience account at any time to make a payment on the balance of your vacation package.

I hope this helps get your vacation planning started. Please let us know if there’s any more we can help you with, Donald.

    Have a Magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Texas

Hi! I'm Shantel from Arizona. I am a mom of two and a military wife. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey-shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for and I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical! Learn More About Shantel
