Hello there, Cristen! Oh boy, your next Disneyland Resort visit is coming up next month! Just like a certain mouse, the moment I say "See ya real soon!" at the park gates, I'm already dreaming of my next visit—so I totally get that!
You asked a great question about
Disability Access Service (DAS), and I want to make sure you have the info you need. DAS is valid for the length of the ticket or up to 240 days, whichever is shorter. If you purchased a multi-day ticket for your son during your trip in January and have not yet redeemed all of the days on your ticket, DAS will still be valid if you use this same ticket for park admission. However, if you purchased a new ticket for your April visit, you’ll need to re-enroll in DAS.
Since you’ve already been through the DAS registration process, you’re likely very familiar with how it works. I’ll go ahead and share a few tips here just in case they’re a helpful refresher!
To enroll in DAS, you’ll first need to have a conversation with a Cast Member to determine eligibility. This can be done virtually via
live video chat up to 60 days in advance of your visit. You can also speak with a Cast Member at the
Accessibility Services Kiosk in-person during your visit. The most important thing to remember is that the Guest requesting DAS—in this case, your son—must be present during registration. Once eligibility is confirmed, utilizing DAS is a seamless experience that can be done right in the
Disneyland mobile app. Simply tap the menu button (three-lined icon at the bottom right), then select “Disability Access Service (DAS)" to redeem your return time.
I also wanted to share some other fantastic accessibility resources the Disneyland Resort offers that you may find helpful. There are two
theme park Guide Maps that are packed with tips and directions for Guests with disabilities. There's also a
Sensory Experience Details guide that tells you what to expect in each attraction and land, from dazzling lights to booming sounds, which can be super helpful for guests with sensory sensitivities. If any questions pop up as you're planning, don't hesitate to reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the email address listed at the bottom of the
Guests with Disabilities page. They’re experts at making sure everyone has a truly magical time!
And finally, since you'll be here in early April, I absolutely have to mention the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! It's happening right now through April 21, 2025. I experienced it last month with my fellow panelist, Carrie, and let me tell you, our taste buds were singing like the birds in Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room! There's an incredible array of sights, smells, and tastes celebrating all the deliciousness California has to offer!
I’m wishing you and your son the most enchanting and memorable visit, Cristen! If any other questions arise as you’re planning, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us! Happy planning!
