Howdy, Melissa! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
You will be delighted to know that the Disneyland Resort is extremely accommodating to Guests with
special dietary needs. Allergy-friendly menus are available at restaurants and you can even speak to a chef before you order if you would like. Further, you can indicate any food allergies when you make advanced dining reservations online or over the phone. In your case, I recommend that you reach out to Guest Services directly at
Special.Diets@disneyland.com to discuss your child's needs. They can go over the different options at the restaurants where you will be dining and might even be able to provide special accommodations with enough advance notice. You will not need a doctor's note in order for dietary requests to be granted.
Also, you are certainly welcome to bring in your own food for your son. If you need to bring a small cooler, you can store it in
lockers available to rent at the Disneyland Resort. Just make sure your cooler is smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high and your food isn't stored in any glass containers.
I hope this helps! Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have.
