My son is currently 40 inches while wearing shoes. For height requirements, are the measurement posts exactly set to the required height or are they a bit taller since kids are measured with shoes on? Thanks!

    Hi Chad!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your excellent question about height requirements for Walt Disney World Resort rides and attractions.

Chad, your son will be measured with shoes on. Please keep in mind that his shoes must have a “normal” sole, and not a platform-style or tall sole. The measurement posts are set to exactly the height required for the attraction. For example, an attraction with a 40” height requirement will have a 40” height measurement post. Your son will need to measure a minimum of 40”, with shoes, in order to enter the attraction.
