My son is in cross fit training. We are staying in the value resorts. Is there some place he can go to exercise while we are there?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mike! My brother is a cross-fit trainee, as well! But even though there may be no crossfit facilities at Walt Disney World Resort, you can still manage a great work out!

The value resorts may not have fitness centers, but several (such as Pop Century and Art of Animation) have wonderful jogging trails in and around the resorts that are suitable for all types of runners. You can also transfer to Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside or Disney’s Yacht Club Resort for the New Balance Running Trails, which are scenic and well marked. You can also take laps in the Resort Pools, which are warmed seasonally and fabulously themed, like the Tres Caballeros Pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. My advice to other guests that truly do need various sets of equipment is to purchase a day pass at a nearby gym, such as the YMCA or a Life Fitness-type gym. The fitness centers at the Deluxe Resorts are sadly reserved for guests of that specific resort and do not allow purchasing of day passes.
