Hello! My son and I are coming to WDW next week. I'm wondering if all the rooms at Pop Century are now remodeled/updated. Or are there only certain sections that have been updated? Thanks, Krista

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Krista! Wow, you're leaving for Walt Disney World Resort this week! Now is definitely a great time to ask about some of these final details as you're packing up your swimsuits and your Minnie Mouse ears

I actually have a stay coming up at Disney's Pop Century Resort later this year, and one of the reasons I love staying there is that all of the rooms have recently undergone refurbishment. They have been fully re-imagined to be sleek and modern looking, and I'm happy to say that there's lots of storage room and plenty of plugs for all of your devices that need to charge overnight. You don't need to worry about specifically requesting a renovated room, because all the upgrades were complete in 2018!

During your stay, make sure to walk along Hourglass Lake to take a look at the progression of the Disney Skyliner. It's going to transport guests from select Resort Hotels, including Disney's Pop Century Resort, to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios! It won't quite be ready to ride when you get there later this week, but it's so exciting to watch the construction coming along. 55 Disney-themed gondolas were recently unwrapped for everyone to see, so be on the lookout for some that are being tested in advance of their opening this fall.

    Have a magical day, Krista!
